Guest Speakers commence 10 am (in addition to the times shown include 5 minutes for questions after each speaker)

  • Blue whales in the Bonney upwelling - Peter Gill Co-Director, Blue Whale Study Inc. Presenting from Heywood (25 minutes).
  • Girls losing their hair: - endocrine disturbance in a population of Australian fur seals with a high prevalence of alopecia - Michael Lynch, Head of Veterinary Services, Melbourne Zoo. Presenting from 8 Nicholson St (20 minutes)
  • Conservation of Leatherback turtles - Patrick O'Callaghan, Director of Deliberate Impact, consulting arm of Conservation Enterprises Unlimited. Presenting from Geelong (20 minutes).

Open Discussion Session 11.30 to 12 noon.

We also hope to have some Federation University staff, students and post graduate students join us for the presentations and discussion from the Mt Helen campus.
